CORRECTIV is a media house oriented towards the public good, strengthening democracy through journalism, media education, and technology. As an award-winning non-profit newsroom, the organization shines a spotlight on power and injustices, exposes disinformation, and provides arguments and methods for all those who want to participate in shaping their environment.
At CORRECTIV, Caroline leads the Faktenforum project, heading an interdisciplinary team of developers, media literacy trainers, and journalists to pioneer new approaches to countering disinformation. Caroline has a background in journalism, having reported on topics ranging from elections in Myanmar and democratic movements in Algeria to the German media industry. She has worked on media accountability at universities and served as a media analyst at NewsGuard.
