Hannah Perry
Head of Research for Digital Policy at DemosDemos, together with their partners, will create Waves, a new digital deliberation process and tool that enables broad participation, deep engagement, and real-time feedback for local governments. Waves will integrate existing deliberative tools with new open-source technology to simplify and scale end-to-end deliberation. This will enable local governments to engage thousands of citizens in decision-making by providing a seamless process for inclusive participation, structured discussions, and instant feedback loops while providing cost-savings for face-to-face and online deliberations.
Demos, an influential UK-based cross-party think tank, will soon launch a major new local democracy experiment. It is being delivered by a new coalition of partners, led by Demos, including New Local, a think tank and network of forward-thinking councils; technology innovators, CASM Technology; and digital democracy platforms, PSi and Remesh.
Hannah is the Program Manager for Waves at Demos. Aside from this, she is the Head of Research for Digital Policy at Demos - a cross-party think tank based in Westminster, London. Their mission is to improve participation in policymaking.
