Luke de Pulford is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China. Previously he ran the anti-slavery charity Arise, which he ran from its inception until 2022, and is well known across world parliaments for his human rights work. He advises the World Uyghur Congress, Hong Kong Watch and sits as a Commissioner for the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission, and serves on several boards. In 2017 Pope Francis awarded him the Bene Merenti medal for services to victims of modern slavery - the youngest known recipient.
