Rachel Samrén is a corporate diplomacy and responsible business expert with significant first-hand experience in complex stakeholder engagement and government relations management on behalf of corporate entities. Most recently she held the position of Chief External Affairs, Governance & Trust Officer at Telia Company, with responsibility for the public affairs, communications, sustainability, ethics & compliance, risk management and internal audit functions of the Group, prior to which she was Chief External Affairs Officer and a member of the Group Executive Team at Millicom. Before that, she served as Head of Business Intelligence at The Risk Advisory Group and worked in corporate banking at Citigroup.
Rachel holds a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MLitt in International Security Studies from the University of St Andrews. She is a Member of the Board of Advisors of the University of Miami Herbert Business School’s Latin America and Caribbean Initiative.
