Lakshmi is the Chief Executive Officer at Centre for Civil Society (CCS).
With a leadership career spanning over 25 years in Ogilvy, HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank overseeing multi-geographic brand & marketing teams, Lakshmi has been pursuing a full time second career in the development sector for the past few years. Previously, Lakshmi was the CEO at India Sanitation Coalition, a multi-stakeholder platform seed-funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation among others, aimed at accelerating the adoption of sustainable sanitation practices in India through public-private-NGO partnerships.
Lakshmi has an active interest in education, gender, environment, sustainable livelihoods, renewables, impact investing and allied areas.
