Mathias Parsbæk Skibdal

Mathias Parsbæk Skibdal is the Executive Director of the Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD). The Copenhagen-based institute works intensively on supporting the development of inclusive, well-functioning democracies by building partnerships between political parties in the Danish Parliament and parties and other key democratic actors across the ENC-region, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

With comprehensive experience in international democracy support, he brings in-depth knowledge on organisational development and the role of political parties in shaping contemporary democracies.

He holds a master’s degree in international development and communications from Roskilde University from 2010.
