Gordon Repinski is the Executive Editor for POLITICO Germany, founder and lead author of the Berlin Playbook newsletter and host of the Berlin Playbook podcast. Prior to his role at POLITICO, Repinski was Deputy Chief Editor at “The Pioneer” as well as at “RedaktionsNetwerk Deutschland” and he served as a correspondent for “Der Spiegel” in Berlin and Washington D.C. In 2024, Repinski was recognized as one of the top editors-in-chief in Germany by “Medium Magazin”, in 2011 he was a recipient of the Arthur F. Burns Award for outstanding transatlantic reporting. Repinski is a frequent commentator on political talkshows and is considered as one of the best informed political journalists nationwide.
