Uffe Elbæk is a Danish politician and a member of the Danish Parliament. From 3 October 2011 to December 2012 he served as the Danish Minister of Culture. In 2013 he launched the political party Alternativet which he led until February 2020.
After leaving The Alternative's leadership, Elbæk subsequently left the party completely before joining with two other Alternative parliamentarians to form the new Independent Greens in September 2020 where he is the spokesperson children and education, business, culture and foreign affair - the later with a special focus on China.
Uffe is a member of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC).
